Blast the hot and cold seasons. I'll take the in between.

15-08-2014 21:44
Will do. , my tank is 30 c ,today it's 24 plus humidity so is actually over 30 c , I can't wait till it starts getting cooler

15-08-2014 08:17
Okay, but just wear lots of padding to break the fall. Wink

15-08-2014 00:45
ya good idea but id rather surprise my mom then have her end up with a sore back our front lawn has a steep hill to and I got to mow it once more oh well

14-08-2014 17:40
Consider trading it for a piece of equipment you can handle a little easier; if there is such a thing.

14-08-2014 13:29
My mom and I have a snowblower but it's to heavy for us so I just budle up in my snow suit and try and get it done for her

14-08-2014 06:03
You need a mini snow plow. It's dangerous being out in the cold and shoveling snow on a sloped drive.

14-08-2014 00:56
ya good point it has its down fall to expesaly when your on a steep hill

13-08-2014 19:55
Ah....imagine if it were concrete. Gravel has its good points. Salt the heck out it because salt can actually melt snow and ice and kills ich too. lol

Goldfish MAGAZINE

Koi & Goldfish are delicate creatures. Their proper environment is a complex ecosystem that must be perfectly balanced; this is only obtained after a great deal of labor, a great deal of added expense and sometimes heartbreak too. If your goldfish is showing signs of distress, sickness, disease or parasite infection, try the least dangerous route first, making sure you've done everything possible for your goldfish before resorting to medications. Typically, the root of the goldfish's problem has to do with poor water quality, stemmed from overfeeding, improper goldfish water changes, improper circulation or water movement. Learn everything you can about goldfish or Koi care, so that they will live a long and healthy life.

Kia's new commercial promotes cruel treatment to goldfish

It's so frustrating to see commercials, tv shows or movies that have a goldfish bowl in the background, but it's even more frustrating to see it being the main focus. If you watch Kia's new commercial in the link below, you'll see Dad racing to the pet shop after obviously finding his daughter's goldfish dead in the bowl. He makes it home just in time with the new fish that rides home in a bag laid carelessly on the front seat; bouncing around as he makes the corners. He runs through the door; pops open the bag and tosses the fish recklessly into the bowl just as his daughter comes in behind him. She says hello to her little fish, and mom and dad high five each other behind her back.
When will we stop using goldfish in a bowl on tv shows, commercials and movies as props, setting a bad example for the public? What's worse; in this commercial, the fish is treated with total disregard, as if it had no value at all. I'm not sure how many people will be convinced that a Kia is the right car for them by this commercial. I would like to think most would be turned off at Kia's attitude toward the poor fish, but the fact is, most people won't even notice the treatment of the fish, because; a fish is just a fish to them.

I for one have been left with a very bad taste in my mouth thanks to Kia. If I was shopping for a car, this commercial would send me in the other direction. It's irresponsible advertising.
Here's the link to the commercial, and here's Kia's phone number if you would like to call and complain; please do. It's time for us to voice our concern over the unfair treatment of goldfish in the media.1-800-333-4KIA (4542)
